Camping in Nevada

Return to our Home Page

These are a few photos from a couple of camping trips we made in our Las Vegas backyard. These camp sites are located in a National Wildlife Preserve that was set up to protect Moutain Sheep. The camps, one at the end of Pine Nut Road and the other at Morman Wells, are both above 6,500 feet. It's always a nice area to escape to. The map of the reserve (108K) shows how close it is to Las Vegas. The turn off at Corn Creek is only about 35 minutes from town.
