Winter Camping in Zion

Return to our Home Page

We took off March 1st for an overnight get away to Zion. We expected cool weather and the forecast was for possible light showers. Heading up I-15 about 45 minutes from the park, near St. George, Utah, the snow started to fall. We plowed on and had a wonderful weekend. The heater in the van kept us warm and toasty. We met other folks as crazy as us as well - some even tent camping - brrrr. The views were spectacular and snow in Zion is a rare and beautiful sight.
